Once Upon a Pool Table...
The year is 1981. Hair was teased, Post-It Notes became a thing, Princess Diana married Prince Charles, and Cue Time Cocktails & Billiards became an official business.
Owned by Jimmy Hodges originally, then Chris Kitchen sold to Tom and Sue Kitchen, who later turned it over to Nicole Hall-Rochester in 2014 to keep the name alive.
Originally, there was just Pool to play - no bar so it could be all-ages.
About 10 years later, everything changed. There was a bar installed, the facility became 21 and up, and darts and new tables were added. That’s the situation you’ll find now when you visit, with a snarky redhead probably working behind the bar to joke with you.
Darts went out, and are now back in style. Much like the teased hair from the 80’s. Dart Tournaments are also planned to happen in the near future.
There are now 15 tables to rent by the hour, seven of which are 7’ Diamond’s, and six Brunswich 9’ tables, and two 9’ Diamonds. The owner plans to add more Diamonds to the floor soon, so check back.
With over 60 liquors and 30 beers available, a mix of domestic and import in drafts, bottles, and cans - you’re sure to find something to make you hoppy.
And there’s food, too! Regular patrons swear the best burgers in Bowling Green are served at Cue Time, prices are affordable, and are best enjoyed on the patio on a warm night with a cold beer.
Come see what makes Cue Time the “Cheers” of Bowling Green, KY!
